I have the purchased version of Trypa and noticed that in two separate instances, a trigger (Hardware, Laptop Functions, Battery Level above a specified percentage then run a shortcut to turn off a Kasa smart plug that has the laptop power supply connected to it.) is not triggered by the laptop battery going above the specified percentage. The trigger currently shows inactive, which might be proper as my battery is now at 100%, but I was wondering if there is some reason the trigger did not catch the battery level being above x% and running the shortcut?

Tom, would it be possible for someone to test this device trigger when the laptop lid is closed? It seems the triggers work if the laptop lid is open, but has issues when it's shut. I'd love to know what laptop settings are needed to get the triggers to work while the laptop lid is closed. I've tried setting all of the various settings that are related to the lid being shut, but so far I've not hit the right combination. Thanks in advance if you can test this and provide feedback. At this time, I'm just keeping my laptop open.
Ah, I see an update to v1.8.2. Just installed the update and will test to see if this helps.
Thanks Tom for the suggestion. FWIW, my 'full' charge limit is set to 95%. And today the 'below 25%" trigger did not go off either. I'll try addiing duplicate triggers as you suggested. I'm wonding why these triggers are not catching though. My M4 Macbook Air 2025 is running the latest version of Sequoia, v15.4.1. I'm wondering if there is an issue w/the latest release of macOS? In any case, I'll try the duplicate triggers and see if this fixes the problem. Thanks again!
Update: I found the issue. It was not Trypa, which was being triggered (turning trigger counts does help in debugging issues!!) but rather my Kasa shortcut. Somehow the latest iOS and macOS updates required turning on Third Party Compatibility in the iOS Kasa app where it was not needed before. After turning that on, things appear to be working again. I like the redundant trigger suggestion and will keep that on as I now have two different 'upper charging limist' and two different 'lower charging limits' that should trigger my shortcuts. For now, let's consider this issue closed. Thanks again Tom!
2nd Update: Well, it turns out Trypa's still having issues with triggering shortcuts based on the battery level. So far I've confirmed the KASA shortcuts work properly, and have also added Amphetamine to keep the Macbook from sleeping while Trypa's running. With all of this in place, I've observed Trypa's not triggering based on the Macbook battery level. Is there any other thing I can try?
Hi Terry, we tried this and can't replicate the issue, this is what it looks like when the power is unplugged and replugged twice.
I suggest changing the for full charged I suggest using 99% (not 100%)
If that doesn't work adding extras duplicate triggers to make sure it catches the %.
